California Dealers First to get BMW’s C Evolution Electric Scooter

Southern California BMW Motorcycle Dealers are among the first in the USA to take delivery of the much-anticipated C Evolution scooter, the first electrically powered model in BMW Motorrad’s arsenal of prestige scooters and motorcycles. The 2017 C Evolution will be available at various Southern California BMW dealerships throughout the southland.

2017 BMW C Evolution: Rolling Into the Future

The C Evolution made its debut in Europe in 2014 and presents BMW’s first step toward alternative drivetrains. Initially, the electric scooter will be introduced on a pilot program, with limited availability at select dealerships in California only, to allow time for interest to build elsewhere in America before the German brand rolls them out in other states.

Four ride modes including Road, Eco Pro, Dynamic and Sail
Standard anti-lock braking system and torque control assist
Onboard infotainment system with large TFT screen, with range and charge info
1-inch seat height
Charging time of 9.5 hours via 110-volt standard outlet
Fast-charge accessory cable is available to provide 220-volt, four-hour charging
