Newly Refreshed F Series GS Models from BMW Motorrad

BMW F 750 GS

With the new BMW motorcycle models this year, BMW Motorrad has done a complete overhaul of the GS models in the F series. Both the F 760 GS and the F 850 GS will have a new 2-cylinder in-line engine designed to add extra torque and power. These 852cc units now feature a power output of 77 horsepower at 7,500 rpm on the 750 GS and 95 horsepower at 8,250 rpm on the 850 GS.

Other New Features in the BMW F Series

There’s a lot more happening with the BMW F Series including a new sound that is emotionally appealing and powerful. That’s due to the crankshaft featuring a 90-degree journal offset plus a 270/450 degree firing interval.

With this BMW motorcycle refresh also comes a newly improved bridge frame made of steel. In addition, it has a telescopic fork plus a swing arm that has a central spring strut for a heightened response.

The F Series comes standard with ASC, Rain and Road modes plus ABS. As options, riders can choose a new instrument cluster that comes with a 6.5-inch display and a suspension adjustment system that’s electronic.

Overall, the new F 750 GS is geared toward the rider looking for lower seat height, superior power and exceptional cost-effectiveness. On the other hand, the F 850 GS is targeted toward the rider looking for power and maximum torque to create an exceptional touring and off-road bike.
